Last Week, This Week: When COVID Comes To Call (Updated 5/16)

*** UPDATE ***

He’s fine, tested negative on Day 10, and life outside of isolation has resumed for The Husband. Today is my Day 10 and the MF at-home test result was positive (must be reflecting my sunny disposition 😡). I feel much better though so I’m quite disappointed to not yet be able to put this experience behind me. Anyway, the link-up break is extended for another week. See you next Monday.

On Thursday, it was The Husband and then yesterday, it was me … bold and very definite readings on our at-home self-tests for COVID-19. So far, if we didn’t know better, I’d say we both have Spring colds. Lots of sneezing, a dry cough, and just a little achy. Nothing that acetaminophen and OTC cough medicine doesn’t take the edge off. Both of us are vaxed and we had our first boosters back in December. We had planned to get our second boosters in early June but that may no longer be the timeline.

So I hope you’ll understand that I’m taking a short break and there’s no link-up today. I expect to be back in action by the end of this week and be back to hosting next Monday. Stay well.
