Last Week This Week is a look back on what I actually wore last Monday thru Friday as long as it was a workday. I’ve included a brief description of each outfit and if I wore it for a specific event other than a typical workday. Without a specified dress-code in my workplace, casual Friday isn’t really an official thing but I usually adhere to it nonetheless.

Let me clarify … unless you’ve declared yourself to be retired, anything you do during daylight hours (and sometimes nighttime ones as well) whether or not you get paid for it, I consider that to be your “work” and you should/can be dressed accordingly. And even if you are retired, in whatever manner you’ve enjoyed your day is good enough for me. I hope that you will be adding your blog and/or Instagram posts to the link up to show what you’ve been wearing to your “work”.

Monday

There are only four outfits for me to share with you from last week because Thursday was Rosh Hashana so I went to services and not to work. My back-to-work Monday outfit started with my olive cropped trousers. After a bit of pondering on what to wear with it, I selected this cheery floral cardigan that I’d bought over a year ago but I hadn’t worn in quite a while.

Tuesday

The key factor for decided on what to wear this day was an outfit that I would work with my white sneakers (not shown). I started my day in the office so I wore my blue wedge pumps while there but switched to my white sneakers for the afternoon while I was running an off-site workshop.

Wednesday

I first paired up this top and cardigan on a whim a few weeks ago and I got some positive feedback on the pattern mixing.

Friday

This maxi skirt was a recent clearance find at Target and my first foray with this length. I’d been headed to the dressing rooms and it practically jumped off the rack at me as I passed.  It’s been a welcome addition to my wardrobe and a new favorite.

Wrap Up

Now, onto the Fine-Whatever link up for this week. My featured contributor from last week’s link up is Cheryl from the blog Northwest Mountain Living & Style. Cheryl labeled this look her “country mountain business suit” but I see it as a great option even for a city gal.

And there you have it, a look back at what I wore to work last week. I expect that in future posts there will be repeat wearings of some of these outfits or a mix and match of the pieces. If you missed the post where I explain the reasons behind this new weekly feature and link up, you can read about it here.

Let’s connect! Subscribe, tweet, follow, friend, love, pin … all options are available and waiting for you. I look forward to hearing from you. And don’t forget to add a post or two to the link up.
