Last Week This Week is a look back on what I actually wore last Monday thru Friday as long as it was a workday. I’ve included a brief description of each outfit and if I wore it for a specific event other than a typical workday. Without a specified dress-code in my workplace, casual Friday isn’t really an official thing but I usually adhere to it nonetheless.

Let me clarify … unless you’ve declared yourself to be retired, anything you do during daylight hours (and sometimes nighttime ones as well) whether or not you get paid for it, I consider that to be your “work” and you should/can be dressed accordingly. And even if you are retired, in whatever manner you’ve enjoyed your day is good enough for me. I’m inspired by the creativity I see shared on so many blogs and Instagram accounts.

Originally I’d intended that this weekly post would feature a link up but I’ve come the realization that I’m stretched too thinly on time to attend to one link up, much less two. So with a bit of regret, I will stick with my Saturday link up and drop this one.

Monday

It was a full work week so there are five outfits for me to share with you from last week. My back-to-work Monday outfit started with a dress and jacket combination.

Tuesday

I tend to wear this moto style jacket quite a lot during warmer weather because of its lighter color and its versatility.

Wednesday

This is my first office selfie using my new bluetooth remote. The weather in SoCal is still in the 80’s so I opted to wear these fabulous “new to me” thrifted sandals and a thrifted midi skirt that they go with so perfectly.

Thursday

The gray pants in this outfit are a repeat from Tuesday. I haven’t worn this polka dot top in a while but this weekly post has got me rethinking the options I have in my closet. I took the photo in the morning beside I knew I wouldn’t have time in office during the day.

Friday

I went with a classic white shirt and jeans that I paired up with a pair of Chelsea boots and a statement necklace for my Friday casusal look.

And there you have it, a look back at what I wore to work last week. I expect that in future posts there will be repeat wearings of some of these outfits or a mix and match of the pieces. If you missed the post where I explain the reasons behind this new weekly feature (minus the link up), you can read about it here.

Let’s connect! Subscribe, tweet, follow, friend, love, pin … all options are available and waiting for you. I look forward to hearing from you. And there’s still lots of time to join the Fine-Whatever link up in last Saturday’s A Woman I Know: Sheilah.
