Wednesday’s Whatevers: Issue #15

Welcome to this week’s issue of Wednesday’s Whatevers, a link collection featuring ideas on how to be stylish, have fun, and celebrate the moment in an “it’s all Fine, Whatever tickles the fancy” manner.  In following the format of the categories on the blog (see them here), for your reading pleasure I now present;

Whatever Hooks The Look

The theme for the Fine-Whatever link up for this coming Saturday (which is the third one of the month) is Color My World. Color is an important component in style and color combinations can kick your style up a notch or two with little effort. The color combination that I will be featuring on Saturday was inspired by and in tribute to my father (I’ll be sharing more on this in the post). In the meantime, I invite you to check out these past CMW posts.

Whatever Props The Shop

So, shopping this past week was for a birthday gift for my mother. In the pursuit of a gift, I wandered into Uniqlo and there was so much to love. For my mother, I picked up the soft and fluffy jacket in a lovely shade of light gray, for me I bought the faux shearling parka in black, and the pleated skirt is on my wish list for now.

Whatever Skates The Plate

These are the new yummy recipes I came across this past week that are now on my “must try” list. The mummy dogs is a brilliant idea for a Halloween treat.

Whatever Spins The Grin

The Husband and I are in the midst of finalizing travel plans for a trip that we will be taking at the end of the month. In the process of doing so, I’ve been playing around with a few on-line trip planners and these are the ones that seem to be easiest to use.
